Shelley's Chickens

My girlfriend Shelley is the proud owner of a bunch
of chickens that roam around freely in her backyard. Between her, them
and Amber, a golden retriever, KC the cat and a few pigeons I have
plenty of subject matter to study and paint.
The darker chicken on the left in this painting had
the unfortunate honor to be a "guinea-pig" for a "hypnotizing
experiment" performed by Shelley and my son Rogér, as can be seen

I do have to mention that this
experiment is not harmful to the chicken in any way…I think.
