At this point, I determine the
lightest and the darkest parts of the painting, clearly visible in this
shot. I also like to work on the sky part at this stage, because the
atmospheric conditions will determine the light, contrast and color on
the landscape. I may change certain cloud formations as I go along.
However, basically, the mood is set for the landscape, a late afternoon
thunderstorm brewing over the canyon. |
